This beautiful waterfront property features a private dock, a canoe/pirogue for two (with life jackets provided), a hammock, an outdoor fire pit, and a gas BBQ, perfect for creating unforgettable memories.

Before Booking
- Before confirming your stay at Whispering Cove, please take a moment to review our House Rules , the required 250 dollar Security Deposit , and our payment and cancellation policies. This helps ensure a smooth and relaxing experience by the lake from the moment you arrive.
- You will be asked to sign a standard SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT to confirm your reservation

GUESTS
No outside visitors are allowed—only registered guests from the reservation are permitted. All guests must sleep in the designated bedroom, and no one is allowed to sleep on the couches or set up extra beds.
ANIMAL
ONE dog only per stay, no cat (due to allergies) We will ask you to not let him/her go in the bedroom or climb on furniture/couches/bed etc. Also, you will need to pick up his/her waste in the yard (waste bags not provided- please bring your own) and remove any hair on the floors before your departure (vacuum provided)
CHECKin/CHECKout
You are welcome to check in after 5pm and check out before 11am. If you wish to arrive earlier or leave later, this can only be done with the agreement of the cleaning team (and depending on bookings) and may be offered after payment of additional management fees.
House OPENINGS
Please keep all doors and windows closed when the heating or AC is on, and ensure the main door is locked each time you leave.
BATHROOM
Please use the exhaust fan while in use and leave door open as much as possible to help with ventilation.
FIRE
Do not leave unattended. Guests agree to clean the BBQ after use.
NO SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house
On DEPARTURE Day
– Put laundry (all white: sheets and towels) in washer, turn it on (pods provided).
– Remove all trash and place IN BAGS (nothing loose) in trash can outside next to carport.
– Wash and pick up dishes.
– Turn off AC or set Heater at 60 during winter months before you leave.

Security deposit
A $/€ 250 security deposit is required for all bookings.
The deposit is collected through a secure payment link sent to you a few days before your arrival.
It must be paid before check-in for your reservation to remain confirmed.
After checkout, once the property has been inspected, the security deposit is refunded in full provided no damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or violation of house rules has been identified. Refunds are typically processed within 3 to 7 business days, depending on your bank.
In the event of damage or necessary replacement, the corresponding amount will be retained and documentation (photos, invoices or estimates) will be provided. If the cost exceeds the amount of the deposit, the remaining balance may be charged.
This process ensures a smooth, transparent and secure experience for both guests and hosts.
Damages
By completing your reservation, you authorize us to charge the card on file for:
– any documented damage
– missing items
– excessive cleaning
– smoking violations
– unauthorized pets or guests
– misuse requiring repair or replacement
Charges will be limited to the $250 security deposit amount, unless the damage clearly exceeds that value and additional charges are justified under local laws.
You will be notified with photos, documentation, and receipts/estimates before any charge is applied.
Missed or Failed Payments
If the 70 percent balance payment fails when due:
You will have a 7-day grace period to update your payment method.
Email reminders will be sent automatically.
If payment is still not received after 7 days, the booking will be cancelled, and the cancellation rules listed above will apply as of that date.
No Show & Early Departure
No-shows are considered fully non-refundable.
Early departures and shortened stays do not qualify for partial refunds.
Payment
Payment Terms
A 30 percent deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining 70 percent is due 60 days before arrival.
For bookings made fewer than 60 days before arrival, the full amount is charged immediately.
48-Hour Grace Period
If you book at least 7 days before your arrival:
You may cancel within 48 hours of making the booking and receive a 100 percent refund of all payments received.
After this grace period, the standard cancellation policy applies.
Cancellation policy
After the 48-hour grace period:
More than 60 days before arrival
The 30 percent deposit is non-refundable.
Any amount you have paid above the deposit will be refunded.
60 days or fewer before arrival
The stay becomes 100 percent non-refundable.
No refund will be issued for any reason, including late arrival, early departure or travel changes.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
